About Al Ameer

Al Ameer is an other food place in Dearborn, Michigan. It is listed at 12710 W Warren Ave, Dearborn, MI 48126, which places it among the local businesses of Dearborn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under lebanese restaurant, restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Al Ameer at (313) 582-8185; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is alameerrestaurant.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 5,214 reviews, which is a strong result for an other food place in Dearborn and suggests consistent service.

Dearborn is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Dearborn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Michigan's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We stopped in to eat dinner, because of the reviews, and we were so happy with the food and service! Juju took care of us and knew what we needed before we could even ask! We ordered the Al-Ameer platter and a bunch of sides. The falafel is some of the best I’ve had. After dinner, we agreed to share the Dubai chocolate cake and had to fight off my kids from eating my portion! Juju was so friendly and made us feel like we were being welcomed into their home. I love middle eastern food and hospitality so much! We will definitely be back!

I had heard so many great things about Al Ameer that I was really looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, my experience just didn't live up to the hype. I'll start with the positive: the hummus was excellentβ€”smooth, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. The lentil soup was also very good. The pita bread, however, was just average and wasn't even served warm, which was surprising. We ordered the combo platter, and that's where things went downhill. The kafta was overcooked to the point that it had a crunchy texture. The chicken was dry, the steak was average at best, and overall I felt the meats were heavily seasoned to the point that the flavors became overpowering rather than balanced. The service didn't help the experience. Our drinks were never refilled, and my friend ordered a Diet Coke that never arrived despite asking for it and one of my sides i ordered also never showed up. We had to flag someone down to get any service at all. I know restaurants can have an off night, and based on the number of glowing reviews, many people clearly have a different experience than I did. Unfortunately, on this visit, the food and service both fell short of expectations. I'd

We arrived 30 min before closing and felt so bad about being the only guests keeping them from finishing work but they did an incredible job - amazing service, delicious food. We will try to come back next time we are in Michigan. Thank you!

I recently visited Al Ameer Restaurant in Dearborn/Detroit and had an outstanding experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared perfectly. From the appetizers to the mixed grill and rice, every dish was packed with authentic Lebanese and Middle Eastern flavors. The portions were generous, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service from Fatima. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Her professionalism and warm hospitality truly stood out and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere for families, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. If you’re searching for the best Lebanese restaurant in the Detroit area, Al Ameer is a must-visit. Delicious food, outstanding service from Fatima, generous portions, and a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Detroit!

I visited Al Ameer in Dearborn with pretty high expectations given the reputation and history behind the restaurant. The menu is definitely extensive, the portions are generous, and the restaurant itself has a lively atmosphere that reflects the strong Arab community in the area. Service overall was decent and the experience as a whole was acceptable, but honestly, the food didn’t fully live up to the hype for me. One of the biggest surprises was that they didn’t have shawarma available, which felt odd for a Lebanese restaurant of this scale and reputation. I was also particularly looking forward to the kebbeh nayeh, but unfortunately it missed the mark. The meat itself was good quality, but the traditional balance and freshness just weren’t there. It also felt incomplete without some of the classic condiments and touches like fresh peppermint and the proper accompaniments that elevate the dish. Some of the mezzeh tasted like it had been sitting a little too long rather than being freshly prepared, which was disappointing because mezzeh is usually where Lebanese restaurants really shine. A few items were still enjoyable, especially the grilled meats, but overall I expected a stro
